Well, it's been a busy summer with every minute taken up with family, friends, vacation, and keeping up with all the new technologies (big plural there). I have been blogging, wiki-ing, creating websites, working with Dreamweaver, and Fireworks - an amazing graphics program.
Now that my days will be taken up with work, will I be able to continue using all of these programs?
I suppose the answer is that if the technology doesn't fit in with my real life, it is really just a toy and not a necessity. Maybe it will be a part of my life if I give it a chance the way I cannot live without my cell phone and email. They take up so much time, though. I savor my time.
I suppose we'll see as the year starts and takes over our lives again.
Looking forward to that fresh start each new year brings. No new clothes for me, but I do get a kick out of seeing all the students in their new clothes.
Confession time: I have been loving the supplies sales. Is there any teacher who is not a stationery addict? I'm just shy of sniffing the markers. If you catch me doing it, just pretend you didn't :)
