If you've been working in Word 2007, you've probably noticed that you cannot close all your files without closing the entire program. This forces you to continually re-open the program after closing the file you were working on.
To get your second X button back, follow these directions:
Click on Office Button in the top left corner. Click on the Word Options button in the bottom right of the pop-up menu. Click on Advanced in the left menu and then scroll down to the
"Display" group, uncheck the "Show all windows in the Taskbar" box, and
click on OK.
Voila'! you have two close buttons!
